On February 18 2026, the Riverside Green Business Program participated in the “Business in Action” event hosted by the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce. The event, happening every third Wednesday of the month, brought together local businesses, city representatives, and partners for an engaging session focused on sustainability and business support.

Sandrine Cassidy, SoCal representative for the California Green Business Network and Riverside Green Business Program coordinator, presented the program to attendees, highlighting its benefits and opportunities for local businesses. The event provided a valuable space to network and connect, with certified businesses, like Discount Medical Equipment and Phenix Technology, Inc.  sharing their experiences and the impact of participating in the program.

Approximately 20 participants attended, representing Riverside’s business community alongside City representatives and Riverside Public Utilities, as the session continued with discussions on how local businesses can access tools, incentives, and guidance to grow while reducing their environmental footprint.

Overall, the event was a great success, strengthening connections within the Riverside business community and raising awareness about the benefits of the Riverside Green Business Program
